Golf became part of the sporting landscape of the Sihlsee and Ybrig region in 2000. Peter Harradine designed an 18-hole course across the valley floor at Studen, and Golf Club Ybrig officially opened it on 1 June that year.
The course uses relatively level playing corridors despite the surrounding mountain landscape. Five lakes provide much of the strategic definition, while the higher greens at the 11th and 14th offer views over the valley toward the Sihlsee.
The club reached its 25th anniversary in 2025, marking a quarter-century of operation of the Harradine course.
Golf Club Ybrig operates an 18-hole, par-70 course from approximately April to mid-November. It accepts guest play under specified Swiss Golf and card-holder conditions and supports the course with a driving range, practice greens, academy, rental equipment and restaurant.
