in the mid‑1960s and began his professional career in the late 1960s, notably contributing to the design of greens at Nîmes in France. Over the decades, Harradine has become known for ecologically sensitive, sustainable, and player‑friendly designs, often working in challenging climates and terrains, and served as president of both the European Institute and Society of Golf Course Architects.
