Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club combines a nine-hole golf course with a much broader sports and recreation complex in Sharjah. The club opened in November 2005, and the golf layout is credited to Peter Harradine. The nine-hole course is designed so that a full circuit can be played twice as a par-72 round, and published scorecard information identifies multiple teeing options.
A notable operational feature is floodlighting, allowing golf beyond normal daylight hours. The wider club includes shooting disciplines, archery, paintball, fitness facilities and restaurants, making golf one component of a multi-sport complex. Because this course is sometimes listed as an 18-hole facility based on playing the nine twice, the database should retain the physical-hole count separately from the full-round par and yardage.
The course is a 9-hole desert golf course. Designed by Peter Harradine, the course originally opened in 2005. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Restaurant, Golf academy, Shooting facilities, Archery, Fitness centre.
Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club opened its doors in November 2005 under the auspices of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. Golf was established alongside a range of shooting and recreational activities rather than as a standalone country club.
Peter Harradine's course uses nine physical holes with multiple tees, enabling the layout to function as an 18-hole par-72 round when played twice.
The wider complex combines golf with rifle and pistol shooting, clay shooting, archery, paintball, fitness and dining facilities.
