Golfclub Grevelingenhout is an 18-hole parkland course at Oudendijk 3 in Bruinisse, Zeeland, beside the Grevelingenmeer. Construction began on 1 July 1988 on a design by English-Swiss golf architect Donald Harradine. The main course covers part of a 52-hectare property of former farmland and woodland, plays to par 72 and measures 6,151 metres from the longest rated tees.
Current rating data lists that set at 72.1 with a slope of 128. The club also operates a separate nine-hole par-3 course of approximately 802 metres, but it is treated as a separate practice layout rather than part of the 18-hole championship scorecard. Green-fee visitors are welcome seven days a week, subject to handicap requirements for the main course.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,151m (6,726 yards), course rating 72.1 and slope rating 128. The course was designed by Donald Harradine. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Golf academy, Golf lessons, Golf shop, Club fitting studio, Restaurant, Handicart rental, and 2 more.
The Grevelingenhout project transformed more than 52 hectares of former farmland and woodland near Bruinisse into a golf complex. Construction began on 1 July 1988 from a design by Donald Harradine.
Harradine's routing uses a mixture of woodland and more open land beside the Grevelingenmeer. Water is a recurring strategic feature, and the club characterises the main course as a parkland layout with substantial water in play.
In 1996 Grevelingenhout Golf BV acquired ownership of the golf course and buildings. Members became indirect owners through certificates in the company, while the club association retained playing rights and the operating company became responsible for the course and facilities.
Golfclub Grevelingenhout now operates the 18-hole course, a separate nine-hole par-3 course, academy, practice facilities, golf shop and clubhouse hospitality. Green-fee golfers are welcome every day.
