The Reef Course is the golf layout historically associated with Grand Lucayan in Freeport on Grand Bahama. Golf-course records describe an 18-hole, par-72 resort layout associated with Robert Trent Jones Sr and Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course was built across relatively flat Bahamian terrain, using extensive water, bunkering and native vegetation to define its holes.
The database location at Sea Horse Lane corresponds with the Grand Lucayan resort area. The important limitation for this research pass is current operating status: the resort and its golf operations have experienced ownership and operational changes, and a sufficiently authoritative current source confirming normal public tee-time access, current green fees and a current scorecard was not located. For that reason, historical length, slope and fee figures from golf directories have deliberately not been promoted into the structured fields.
