Gunung Geulis Country Club is a 36-hole golf facility in the hills near Bogor comprising two distinct 18-hole layouts, the West Course and East Course. Both were designed by the Australian firm Thomson, Wolveridge and Perrett. The West Course was the first, opening in 1992 and measuring 6,075 metres according to the club; the East Course followed in 1994 and measures 6,065 metres.
The West is divided into the Garden and Clove nines, while the East is divided into Valley and Hill nines. Because these are genuinely separate 18-hole courses, their scorecards should not be merged into a single artificial 36-hole tee set. The official site publishes detailed hole information for both courses.
The course is a 36-hole resort golf course. The course was designed by Thomson, Wolveridge and Perrett. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Accommodation, Convention facilities, Sports facilities, Recreation facilities.
The West Course was the first course developed on the Gunung Geulis hillside near Bogor.
Both courses use the site's hilly terrain. The East Course was designed around buggy use; its Valley nine follows stronger contours while the second nine is gentler with wider fairways.
The West Course opened in 1992. A second 18-hole layout, the East Course, followed in 1994, creating the present 36-hole complex.
Gunung Geulis operates two separate 18-hole courses within a larger resort and recreation complex.
