Hermanus Golf Club is a 27-hole facility in Hermanus in the Western Cape. The club dates to 1907. Bob Grimsdell shaped an important earlier version of the course, while Peter Matkovich later undertook a major redevelopment that added nine holes and upgraded the existing layout.
The expanded 27-hole configuration was completed in the 2006-07 period and is organised into three nines, allowing different 18-hole combinations. Published descriptions identify those combinations as par 72. The course incorporates fynbos and restored wetland areas and is backed by the Kleinrivier Mountains.
The course is a 27-hole parkland golf course. Designed by Bob Grimsdell, the course originally opened in 1907. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Chipping area, Pro shop, Restaurant, Golf carts, Club rental, Full Membership, and 1 more.
