The club's own history credits Norman Demske with the design, assisted by consultation from Robert Ahasay of De Pere. The present golf course has 18 holes and a published par of 72. A recent rated scorecard lists Blue tees at 6,311 yards with a 69.7 course rating and 116 slope, White at 5,996 yards, Gold at 5,491 and Red at 5,372.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 5,771m (6,311 yards), course rating 69.7 and slope rating 116. Designed by Robert Ahasay and Norman Demske, the course originally opened in 1970. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Practice Facility, Putting Green, Pro Shop, Golf Simulators, Golf Lessons, Club Fitting, Club Rental, and 3 more.
Norman and Hazel Demske founded Hilly Haven in the winter of 1964 as a downhill ski business with five slopes and five rope tows. Golf development began in 1968 when the first fairways for a nine-hole course were seeded. Norman Demske designed the course with consultation from Robert Ahasay of De Pere, and the first nine opened in 1970.
The business moved away from downhill skiing and continued developing its golf operations. Hilly Haven later expanded to an 18-hole course and added a broad practice and indoor-golf offering.
The operation remains family-run. The official site identifies Ron and Charlie Demske as current owners and offers both outdoor golf and six HD Golf simulators.
