Kelab Golf Seri Selangor is an 18-hole public golf course in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Developed by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), it opened in 1998 with the stated objective of becoming Malaysia's first genuine public golf facility. Australian architect Ross Watson designed the par-72 layout, which the club lists at 6,329 metres from the back tees and 6,043 metres from the regular men's tees.
Its two nines are named the Menteri Besar Nine and PKNS Nine. The course uses naturally undulating ground, with elevated tees and greens, mature tree-lined corridors, 51 bunkers and water affecting eight holes. The official site publishes a course rating of 72.4 and slope rating of 131.

Seri Selangor grew out of a Selangor State Development Corporation initiative to make golf more accessible. Rather than developing another conventional members' club, PKNS planned the project as a genuine public facility where golfers could pay to play without belonging to a private club. The course was launched in 1998 and the club continues to describe itself as Malaysia's first bona fide public golf course.
Australian architect Ross Watson was commissioned to design the 18-hole layout after inspecting the naturally undulating site at Kota Damansara.
Watson worked with the existing changes in elevation rather than creating a flat resort-style course. The finished routing contains elevated tees, uphill and downhill approaches, contoured and often two-tiered greens, mature trees, 51 bunkers and water in play on eight holes. The two nines are known as the Menteri Besar Nine and PKNS Nine.
The club describes Watson's intention as producing 18 holes capable of testing golfers of different standards. Several holes require players to choose lines around deep bunkers, trees or water rather than relying principally on length. The official site lists an average green speed around 9.5 feet, rising to approximately 11 feet for tournament preparation.
The course and clubhouse have undergone subsequent investment while remaining under PKNS ownership. The club records an RM12 million programme of course and clubhouse improvements that enlarged the men's and women's locker rooms, cafe and surau and upgraded other facilities. The pro shop became a two-storey operation with a dedicated club-testing area, while the banquet hall was configured for functions of up to 200 guests.
PKNS Golf Management Services Sdn Bhd manages the operation. Night golf was also introduced during the club's earlier development, broadening playing hours at the public facility.
Seri Selangor established its tournament credentials soon after opening. It hosted the 2006 Malaysian PGA Championship, where Iain Steel won after finishing four rounds at even par, and later became closely associated with the Selangor Masters. The tournament joined the Asian Tour beginning in 2008 and has subsequently appeared on the Asian Development Tour and Malaysia's domestic professional circuit.
Asian Tour coverage continues to identify Seri Selangor as a Ross Watson-designed public course and a demanding tournament venue.
Kelab Golf Seri Selangor remains wholly owned by PKNS and managed by PKNS Golf Management Services Sdn Bhd. Public golfers can reserve tee times online, and the club publishes weekday, weekend and public-holiday packages rather than restricting play to members and guests. The facility combines the 18-hole course with practice areas, a pro shop, locker facilities, Cafe Seri Selangor and function space.
Its location in Kota Damansara places it within Petaling Jaya and the state of Selangor.
