Kooralbyn Valley Golf Course is located in Queensland, Australia. The 18-hole championship course opened in October 1979 and hosted the 1981 Queensland Open. Designed by Desmond Muirhead, the course features a par-3 hole that drops 100 feet and is noted in the book ‘Classic Golf Hole Design’.
After a multi-million dollar renovation in 2016, the course includes redesigned greens, refurbished bunkers, and a new irrigation system. The layout consists of contrasting nines, with the front nine winding through valleys and watercourses, while the back nine incorporates lakes in the valley basin. The course is home to abundant wildlife, including kangaroos.
On-site facilities include Restaurant, Cabin, Suite, Cart Hire.
