Lake Rotoiti Golf Course is the golf facility associated with Moose Lodge Estate at 843 State Highway 30, Tikitere, on Lake Rotoiti near Rotorua. The estate developed a private nine-hole course in the late 2010s, with New Zealand tourism material stating that it was due to open in July 2019. It subsequently appeared in golf directories as Moose Lodge Golf Club and Lake Rotoiti Golf Club.
Current handicap data records an 18-hole playing sequence from multiple tees; the men's White configuration measures 5,644 metres, plays to par 70 and carries a 68.7 course rating and 114 slope. The property should not be confused with Hinehopu Golf Club, a separate course farther east on the lake. Golf New Zealand retains a Lake Rotoiti Golf Course record under club ID 554, although that record currently contains almost no club or course information.
The course is a resort golf course. It plays to par 70, 5,644m (6,172 yards), course rating 68.7 and slope rating 114. The course originally opened in 2019. It is open to resort guests. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Restaurant.
The golf course forms part of the historic Moose Lodge Estate on the shore of Lake Rotoiti. Sport Bay of Plenty records that a private nine-hole course was established at the estate in 2018, while Tourism New Zealand material produced by Moose Lodge stated that its own private nine-hole course, clubhouse, tearooms and shop were to open in July 2019. Golf-directory material subsequently referred to the facility as Moose Lodge Golf Club and later Lake Rotoiti Golf Club.
The course entered Golf New Zealand's directory as Lake Rotoiti Golf Course, club ID 554. That Golf New Zealand record remains online but currently contains no useful contact or course data. Modern mapping and handicap databases continue to carry rated Lake Rotoiti tee configurations, although they do not agree on the physical number of greens/holes on the property.
The course remains associated in current accommodation and golf-directory listings with the Moose Lodge Estate property at 843 State Highway 30. It is distinct from Hinehopu Golf Club, which is a separate community golf club on the eastern side of Lake Rotoiti.
