Lockport Golf and Recreation Club is a private, 9-hole golf course located in Lockport, Illinois, United States. Established over 70 years ago, the course is situated on the bluffs overlooking the I&M Canal Corridor and serves as the home course for over 750 golfers. The course has undergone numerous improvements over the years, including the installation of an automatic watering system for the greens and tees in 1969, and the addition of watered fairways in 1989.
The club was purchased by 350 members in 1983 after the Texaco Refinery ceased operations. Recent enhancements include new tee boxes, a picnic patio, and granite hole markers at each tee.
