The Golf Course at Luttrellstown Castle Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course at Castleknock, west of central Dublin. The championship tees measure 7,347 yards. The modern course was comprehensively redesigned by Tom Mackenzie and Donald Steel as part of a project in which more than 20 million euros was invested in 2007.
Their work re-contoured all 18 greens to USGA specification and introduced revetted and links-style bunkering, gathering slopes, gorse and other strategic features while retaining the estate's mature parkland character. The routing incorporates the River Liffey, a 20-acre lake, historic estate structures and mature chestnut, beech, oak and lime trees. Facilities include a 30-bay indoor/outdoor driving range, chipping area, nine-hole putting green, three-hole short course, pro shop, equipment rental and a large clubhouse.

Golf at Luttrellstown occupies part of a 567-acre private estate centred on the historic castle and the River Liffey. The modern identity of the course is chiefly the product of a major redevelopment rather than simply the estate's earlier golf configuration.
Tom Mackenzie and Donald Steel blended mature parkland with features more commonly associated with links golf. Revetted and false-front bunkering, gathering slopes, gorse and contoured greens create strategic demands while the routing incorporates the Liffey, estate lake and historic landscape.
More than 20 million euros was invested in the golf project in 2007, when Mackenzie/Steel were engaged to completely redesign the championship course. Every green was re-contoured to USGA specification and the supporting clubhouse and golf infrastructure were developed to a comparable scale.
The course plays 7,347 yards at par 72 from the championship tees and is supported by a 30-bay driving range, short-game areas, a three-hole short course, pro shop and large clubhouse.
