The championship tees measure 6,866 yards, while the official site lists blue tees at 6,467 yards, white at 6,041 and red at 5,511.
The layout has substantial elevation movement through its fairways and rough, with water affecting 11 holes and TifDwarf putting surfaces. Practice facilities include a 19-bay driving range with eight natural-grass bays, plus chipping and putting greens.

Allamanda was developed as one of three full 18-hole courses at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club, a 54-hole golf property in Johor.
Ronald Fream used substantial changes in fairway and rough elevation together with water features and bunkering. Palm Resort records water in play on 11 holes and identifies the second and fifteenth among the layout's principal design features.
Allamanda operates alongside Cempaka and Melati, sharing Palm Resort's clubhouse and extensive practice infrastructure.
