Penang Golf Resort is an 18-hole golf facility at Kepala Batas in Penang, Malaysia. The property was originally developed as a 36-hole complex designed by Australian golfer and architect Graham Marsh on former oil-palm plantation land. That original configuration comprised East and West courses.
The resort was subsequently redeveloped: Bertam Properties states that the 36 holes were reconfigured into a single 18-hole championship course, with upgrading completed in October 2019 and the redesign work contracted to Nigel B. Douglas. The present course therefore should not be described as an operating 36-hole facility.
