San Lameer Country Club is an 18-hole resort golf course on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. The official resort credits Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes with designing the course. Its routing was developed around the property's existing environmental features, particularly its wetland forest, with the designers seeking to avoid sensitive vegetation and incorporate indigenous plants and shrubs into the course.
The holes move through open areas, forest and wetlands within the larger San Lameer estate, close to the Indian Ocean. San Lameer is part of a broader resort development offering accommodation, restaurants and other recreation, rather than operating solely as a stand-alone golf club. The clubhouse has also undergone renovation.

Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes routed the course around one of the remaining wetland forests on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. San Lameer's own account specifically says the design sought to avoid sensitive vegetation and use indigenous plants and shrubs as natural course features.
The golf course became one component of the larger San Lameer resort and residential estate. The clubhouse has subsequently been renovated.
The course remains part of the San Lameer resort, with 18 holes moving through open glades, forest and wetland environments.
