Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort is a public municipal golf facility in Palm Springs containing two separate 18-hole courses. The older Legend Course was designed by William Francis Bell and is a traditional, tree-lined layout. Its Championship tees measure 6,815 yards with a 72.4 rating and 125 slope.
The Resort Course was designed by Ted Robinson and opened in 1995. It has a desert-links character with rolling terrain, bunkering and numerous constructed waterscapes; its Championship tees measure 6,705 yards and are rated 71.3/124. Both courses play to par 72 individually.
The course is a 36-hole golf course. The course was designed by Ted Robinson and William Bell Jr. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Practice Facilities.
The older Legend Course was conceived more than six decades ago and designed by William Francis Bell as a traditional country-club-style layout.
Tahquitz Creek expanded with the Resort Course, a Ted Robinson design that opened in 1995. This created the present 36-hole facility, with the two courses offering distinctly different design styles.
The City of Palm Springs operates Tahquitz Creek as a public golf resort with the Legend and Resort courses plus an all-grass practice centre.
