Telford Hotel & Golf Resort's golf course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout at Great Hay in Shropshire. The club's history says Telford Development Corporation acquired the property in the 1970s and developed the course for about £150,000, with golf opening in 1976. The golf club was formally established in January 1977, and the hotel and clubhouse were completed in 1981.
John Harris and Brian Griffiths are credited with the course design. England Golf currently records a White course of 6,454 yards with a 71.4 course rating and 133 slope, while longer tees extend the property farther. The course sits within the wider hotel and spa resort and is supported by a driving range, practice facilities, golf shop, simulator, accommodation, restaurants, bars, gym, swimming pool and spa facilities.
