Terre dei Consoli Golf Club & Resort at Monterosi, north of Rome, centres on an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The club's current site gives the championship length as 6,885 metres and also identifies a separate nine-hole Family Course measuring 1,889 metres and playing to par 31. These are distinct layouts and should not be merged into a single 27-hole scorecard.
Jones routed the championship course through the existing valley landscape while adding strategic constructed hazards. The ninth is formally identified by the club as 'The Island', with its green set against a lake. Terre dei Consoli has hosted the European Challenge Tour twice, giving the modern course a significant professional-tournament record.

Jones worked the routing through the existing valley landscape while incorporating constructed hazards to raise the strategic demands. The club identifies the ninth, The Island, as the clearest expression of the design, with the green appearing to emerge from the lake.
The complex developed both the 18-hole championship course and a separate nine-hole Family Course, broadening the facility beyond tournament golf.
The championship course has twice hosted the European Challenge Tour.
