The Links at Brunello is an 18-hole public course at Timberlea in the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia. Canadian architect Thomas McBroom designed the course as part of the larger Brunello Estates community development, and it officially opened on 15 June 2015. The Black tees measure 7,089 yards at par 72 with a 74.4 course rating and 141 slope.
Multiple additional tee combinations extend down to 5,266 yards. The course was built across rolling, rocky terrain with marshland, native vegetation, white-sand bunkers and bentgrass tees, fairways and greens. Golf Digest ranked it third among the Best New Golf Courses in North America for 2015; the club later cites Golf Digest and SCOREGolf national rankings.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,482m (7,089 yards), course rating 74.4 and slope rating 141. Designed by Thomas McBroom, the course originally opened in 2015. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Practice Facility, Golf Simulator, Golf Shop, Golf Lessons, Restaurant, Bar, Function Room, Golf Cart Hire.
The Links at Brunello was developed as the golf component of the more than 500-acre Brunello Estates community project at Timberlea. Thomas McBroom was selected to design the 18-hole course across a site containing forest, exposed rock, marshes and rolling terrain.
McBroom's design used the existing topography and vegetation while adding prominent white-sand bunkering, multiple teeing positions and bentgrass playing surfaces. The official scorecard provides combinations allowing a wide span of playing lengths.
The course officially opened on 15 June 2015. Clubhouse, restaurant and other community facilities developed around the course in the following years.
Golf Digest ranked Brunello third among new North American courses in 2015. The club later cites a Golf Digest Top 25 in Canada placement in 2018 and SCOREGolf public-course rankings in 2019 and 2020.
Brunello operates as a public daily-fee course. Green fees include a GPS power cart and access to the practice facility, while indoor golf and food-and-beverage facilities extend the operation beyond the outdoor season.
