Thomas “Tom” McBroom (born September 17, 1952) is a prominent Canadian golf course architect based in Toronto. He founded Thomas McBroom Associates Ltd.

in the late 1980s after graduating with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and apprenticing under Robbie Robinson. His firm has produced over 60 new courses and 40 renovations, many in Canada and select international destinations, acclaimed for their elegant integration with terrain and strategic craftsmanship.

The Caversham, Tobiano, and Tower Ranch are among his international design credits. His work has received multiple awards including six Golf Digest “Best New Canadian Course” titles and consistent listings in Score/SCOREGolf Top 100 rankings.

His design philosophy emphasizes building courses that emerge from the land with visual drama, memorable playability, and sustainable artistry.
