The Nicklaus Legacy Design Course at Vidanta Puerto Peñasco is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course measuring 7,210 yards. Vidanta credits Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II with the design. The routing occupies a peninsula between a tidal estuary, inlet and the Sea of Cortez, with indigenous sand dunes and desert vegetation forming much of the site's character.
Official specifications list 87 bunkers and two lakes, with seashore paspalum used on both greens and fairways. Golf facilities include a pro shop, practice range, short-game area, putting green, locker room, restaurant and bar, instruction and bag storage. Vidanta directs guests to arrange tee times through the pro shop or concierge.
