Wyckoff Country Club is an 18-hole private club in Holyoke, Massachusetts, laid out at the base of Mount Tom and shaped over several decades by Donald Ross. The course plays to a par of 69 across 6,024 yards, with a course rating of 70.5 and a slope of 128, on rolling, hilly terrain typical of Ross's early 20th-century New England work. Fairways are bluegrass and greens are bentgrass, and the layout is known for heavy bunkering and fast, firm putting surfaces.
The club is semi-private, publishing daily green fee rates for both walking and cart golf across 9 and 18 holes, in addition to a membership program with social and corporate options. Facilities include a golf shop, practice putting green, and a clubhouse restaurant, "Heritage Greens Kitchen & Bar," following a 2025 renovation of the clubhouse, dining room, and cart fleet. The club also hosts weddings, banquets, and outings through its event and banquet operations.

A golf course at the foot of Mount Tom existed before Wyckoff Country Club had its current name. The club began in 1898 as a nine-hole course serving Holyoke, one of several golf grounds that sprang up around western Massachusetts at the turn of the century.
Its transformation traces to J. Lewis Wyckoff, a Holyoke stationery manufacturer and Massachusetts Golf Association committee member who became an early patron of Donald Ross. Wyckoff helped bring Ross to Holyoke and backed him as Ross was shifting his career from club professional to full-time course architect. Ross expanded the nine-hole course to a full 18 holes in the 1910s, giving the club the routing that, in modified form, still exists today.
Ross returned to the course again in the early 1920s, reworking holes to accommodate the new Wyckoff Park residential subdivision being built alongside the club. The redesign reflects a recurring theme in Ross's American work: routing a golf course around encroaching development while preserving playability and strategic interest, using the natural rolls of the Mount Tom foothills rather than heavy earthmoving.
The result is a hilly, tree-lined course with small, contoured greens and deep bunkering in the Ross style, built for shot placement over raw length.
The course's routing changed again decades after Ross's death. Interstate 91 was built through the Connecticut River Valley in the 1960s and cut across the eastern edge of the property, forcing the club to abandon or rebuild affected holes and acquire additional land to preserve a full 18-hole course. The club had been sold and renamed Wyckoff Country Club, after its founding patron, in the mid-1950s, shortly before the highway construction reshaped its grounds.
More recently, the club undertook a 2025 renovation of its clubhouse and dining operations, introducing the "Heritage Greens Kitchen & Bar" restaurant, an updated banquet hall, new landscaping, and a refreshed cart fleet.
Wyckoff Country Club now operates as a semi-private daily-fee club open to public play alongside its membership programs. It remains an 18-hole, par-69 course of just over 6,000 yards, with tee times bookable online and a clubhouse used for outings, weddings, and banquets in addition to golf.
