Golf Course Architect
Davis Love III (born April 13, 1964, in Charlotte, NC) is best known as a celebrated PGA Tour professional—especially after winning the 1997 PGA Championship—but in the mid‑1990s he founded a golf architecture practice, Love Golf Design, with his brother Mark. — He personally led the renovation of the Ocean Course at Sea Pines Resort (now Atlantic Dunes), integrating dunes and native vegetation in a fully redesigned routing; and he is credited with the signature design of The Preserve at Jordan Lake in Chapel Hill, NC.
He remains active in shaping resort and collegiate course restorations in a compact, highly curated portfolio.
