Golf Course Architect
Jeffrey D. Brauer is a prominent American golf course architect and former president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA).
He founded his firm—initially Jeffrey D. Brauer/GolfScapes—in the mid‑1980s and has since designed or renovated dozens of courses nationwide.
His notable work includes Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis, California, a public 18‑hole layout opened circa 1998–1999, as well as projects such as Sand Creek Station in Kansas and renovations like Tempest Golf Club in Texas. His designs are celebrated for thoughtful use of natural landforms, distinctive bunkering, and strategic playability.
