Golf Course Architect
Norman H. Woods (1908-1987) is credited by multiple golf-course references with designing Capitol City Golf Club.
Woods trained at Ontario Agricultural College and spent approximately 15 years working with Stanley Thompson on more than 50 projects before establishing his own practice in British Columbia after Thompson's death in 1952. The American Society of Golf Course Architects says Woods produced approximately 200 designs and redesigns during the following 25 years and was an ASGCA member from 1953.
