Golf Course Architect
Tony Cashmore is an Australian golf course architect celebrated for his sensitive integration of natural dune and parkland terrain into strategic, playable layouts. He gained prominence in the 1990s through his redesign of The Dunes Golf Links on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, setting the stage for his work at Thirteenth Beach—where he designed the Beach Course and later collaborated with Sir Nick Faldo on the Creek Course.
He is also the designer of the Henley Course at The Heritage Golf & Country Club in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley. The RACV Forest Resort at Creswick near Ballarat (Midland Highway) is among his resort-scale projects, where he designed the course in 2006 on the site of the former Creswick Golf Club.
