Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas is a multi-course public facility built around two separate Arnold Palmer-designed 18-hole courses, the Palm and Mountain, giving the club 36 holes of conventional championship golf. The Mountain is slightly longer, while the Palm places particular emphasis on its par threes, bunkering and putting surfaces. Angel Park also contains two distinct alternative-golf facilities that should not be merged into the championship scorecards: Cloud Nine is a 12-hole short course designed by Bob Cupp and John Fought, with holes inspired by famous golf designs, and Devine 9 is a nine-hole natural-grass putting course.
Nine Cloud Nine holes are lighted for evening play, and Devine 9 is also lighted. The club provides a professional shop, instruction and food-and-beverage facilities. Because Palm and Mountain are independent layouts, the database's club-level record should not carry one universal par, yardage, rating or slope.
The course is a 36-hole desert golf course. The course was designed by John Fought and Bob Cupp and Arnold Palmer. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Course, Short Course, Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Restaurant, Membership.
Palmer created two separate championship layouts with different emphases: the Palm asks for precision around its par threes and greens, while the longer Mountain places additional demands on longer holes. Cupp and Fought took a different approach with Cloud Nine, using famous strategic concepts as inspiration for a compact short course.
The golf offering expanded beyond the Palm and Mountain courses with Cloud Nine and the Devine 9 natural-grass putting course, creating several distinct forms of golf at one property.
Angel Park operates 36 holes of conventional golf together with the 12-hole Cloud Nine and nine-hole Devine 9.
