Arzaga Golf Club at Calvagese della Riviera near Lake Garda has 27 holes divided between two distinct architect credits. The main 18-hole course was designed by Jack Nicklaus II, while a separate nine-hole course was designed by Gary Player. The club therefore should not be represented as one continuous 27-hole routing.
Arzaga describes the Nicklaus II course as an American-style layout with broad fairways, while the Player nine uses the natural contours of the Valtenesi and places particular emphasis on rounded, sometimes deep bunkers protecting the greens. The property also operates a substantial driving range and golf academy. Because the two layouts are architecturally and operationally distinct, aggregate par, rating, slope and hole-by-hole values have not been merged at course level.

The two Arzaga courses intentionally have different architectural identities. Jack Nicklaus II's 18-hole course uses broad fairways and an American-style presentation, while Gary Player's nine-hole course follows the Valtenesi terrain and uses rounded, sometimes crater-like bunkers around the greens.
