Bà Nà Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in the foothills west of Da Nang and is the first golf course designed by Luke Donald. The championship layout extends to 7,857 yards from its longest tee and the club states that five sets of tees are available. The course occupies undulating foothill terrain bordered by native forest rather than the coastal sand landscape found at several other Da Nang courses.
It is fully floodlit from the first tee through the eighteenth green, allowing selected night-golf operations. IMG manages the facility. Bà Nà Hills opened in 2016 and was named World's Best New Golf Course at the World Golf Awards that year; the club also records six consecutive Vietnam's Best Golf Course awards from 2017 through 2022 and further Asian awards in subsequent years.
The course is an 18-hole mountain golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,857 yards. Designed by Luke Donald, the course originally opened in 2016. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Restaurant, Café, Terrace, Golf academy, Driving range, Clubhouse restaurant, Pro shop, Floodlit golf, and 1 more.
The project was developed in the foothills of the Bà Nà mountain area outside Da Nang and entrusted to Luke Donald for his first completed golf-course design.
The routing uses the site's large elevation changes, native forest and natural foothill topography. Five tee sets were incorporated to vary the playing length substantially.
The course opened in 2016 and was immediately recognised at the World Golf Awards. Full-course floodlighting subsequently became one of its distinguishing operational features.
IMG manages the club, which combines the 18-hole course with an academy, PGA instruction, clubhouse facilities and selected night-golf sessions.
