The Nicklaus Course at Legend Danang Golf Resort is an 18-hole, par-73 layout measuring 7,380 yards from the back tees. It occupies about 200 hectares beside the Co Co River and forms one half of Legend Danang's 36-hole complex, alongside the Greg Norman-designed course. The resort credits the Nicklaus design with broad fairways and extensive wood-faced bulkheads, a visual and engineering feature inspired by golf courses in the United States.
The resort describes it as the first course in Southeast Asia to use this particular wood-faced bulkhead approach. Paspalum greens and Bermuda turf are used across the course. The Nicklaus Course hosted the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang from 2022 through 2024.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. It plays to par 73, 6,748m (7,380 yards). The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus Design. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Practice green, Pro shop, Restaurant, Caddies, Golf carts, Club rental, Night golf.
The Nicklaus Course was developed as the second architectural identity within Legend Danang's 36-hole complex, occupying roughly 200 hectares beside the Co Co River while the neighbouring Norman Course uses the coastal terrain.
Wide fairways, river-edge water features and extensive timber bulkheads define the design. The bulkheads were inspired by North American golf construction and serve both visual and hydraulic-management functions.
The course's tournament profile grew through the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang, staged on the Nicklaus Course from 2022 through 2024.
The Nicklaus and Norman courses now form the first 36-hole golf complex in Da Nang, with distinct parkland/river and coastal-links design identities.
