Cedar Pointe Golf Course is a public 18-hole championship golf course located in Boone, Iowa. The original nine holes were designed in the early 1900s, making it one of Iowa's oldest golf courses, while the back nine features a more modern design established nearly a century later. The front nine requires accurate tee shots and short game skills due to mature trees lining each hole, with only two water hazards and seven bunkers.
In contrast, the back nine offers a more open layout with fewer trees, but includes more bunkers and water hazards. The combined 18 holes provide a unique golfing experience.
