Golf has been played on Cleeve Hill since 1891, and the course's own official social profile describes the layout as an original Old Tom Morris design later revised by Dr Alister MacKenzie. The current traditional card is an 18-hole, par-71 layout, with a published White distance of 6,496 yards, Yellow at 6,083 yards and Red at 5,516 yards.
