Corales Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 Tom Fazio design at Puntacana Resort & Club in Punta Cana. It opened in 2010 and occupies coastal terrain containing cliffs, natural bays and coves, inland lakes and former coralina quarry features. Six holes run directly along the Caribbean Sea.
The closing three holes are collectively known as the Devil's Elbow; the 18th requires a carry across the cliff-lined Bay of Corales. Corales has become the principal PGA Tour venue in the Dominican Republic. It first hosted the Corales Puntacana event on the developmental tour in 2016 and 2017 before the tournament became a PGA Tour event in 2018.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,013m (7,670 yards). Designed by Tom Fazio, the course originally opened in 2010. It is open to resort guests. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Chipping green, Golf shop, Golf instruction, Rental clubs, Golf carts, Bar and grill.
Puntacana Resort commissioned Tom Fazio to create Corales as a new championship course on coastal land within the resort. The course opened in 2010 and supplemented P.B. Dye's existing La Cana course.
Fazio routed six holes directly along the Caribbean and incorporated cliffs, bays, ocean coves, inland lakes and coral quarry features. Multiple lines of approach are a stated element of the design. The closing Devil's Elbow sequence culminates at the 18th with a forced carry over the Bay of Corales.
Corales moved rapidly into tournament golf. It hosted the Corales Puntacana event on the developmental tour in 2016 and 2017 before becoming a PGA Tour venue in 2018.
Corales is the home course of the Dominican Republic's PGA Tour event and has consequently received sustained international tournament coverage.
Corales remains part of Puntacana Resort & Club's 45-hole golf offering. The PGA Tour's 2026 tournament setup measures 7,670 yards at par 72.
