Cumberland Trail Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 public course at 8244 Columbia Road SW in Pataskala, Ohio. The layout was designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry around the turn of the millennium. Current published data put the Black tees at 7,103 yards with a 74.3 course rating and slope of 132.
Five tee configurations allow the course to be shortened substantially for different players. The routing moves through gently rolling ground east of Columbus and is known for bentgrass playing surfaces and a large practice operation. Facilities include a driving range, putting and chipping areas, practice bunker, golf shop, club fitting, lessons, bar and grill and patio.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,103 yards, course rating 74.3 and slope rating 132. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Practice Bunker, Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Club Fitting, Golf Carts, and 5 more.
Cumberland Trail was developed around the turn of the millennium as a championship public course east of Columbus, with Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry responsible for the design.
The routing uses changing terrain and multiple tee options to create a long championship test from the back while remaining playable from shorter positions.
The course has long promoted the quality of its bentgrass greens as a defining feature.
Cumberland Trail operates as a public daily-fee course with seasonal rates, extensive practice facilities, instruction, a golf shop and clubhouse dining.
