The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf and Spa in Devon has two distinct layouts: the 18-hole Championship Course and the shorter nine-hole Dartmouth Course. The Championship Course opened in 1992 and was designed by British architect Jeremy Pern. From its longest published tees it measures 7,191 yards and plays to par 72.
The course uses the rolling South Hams terrain and numerous water features across a 225-acre property. Four principal tee sets allow substantial variation in playing length. The separate Dartmouth Course is a nine-hole, par-33 layout measuring 2,252 yards and should not be merged into the Championship Course's scorecard.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,575m (7,191 yards), course rating 72 and slope rating 113. Designed by Jeremy Pern, the course originally opened in 1992. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Restaurant, Bar, Accommodation, Practice Facilities, Lodge, Room, Suite.
The Championship Course was developed as the principal golf layout of the Dartmouth resort and opened in 1992.
Jeremy Pern used approximately 225 acres of rolling South Hams countryside, incorporating the existing elevation changes and numerous water features into a long championship routing.
The property operates both the Championship Course and separate nine-hole Dartmouth Course with public visitor access and resort accommodation.
