El Paraíso Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-71 course in the Estepona area of the Costa del Sol. The layout was designed by Gary Player and dates from 1973, placing it among the established courses from the region's early period of golf development. The routing occupies gently changing terrain between the Mediterranean coast and the hills inland from Estepona.
Mature vegetation, bunkering and water are incorporated into the course rather than the layout being part of a modern high-density residential development. El Paraíso operates as a members' club while also accommodating visiting golfers. Practice and clubhouse facilities accompany the main course, including putting and practice areas, a professional shop and food and beverage facilities.

El Paraíso belongs to the generation of Costa del Sol courses developed as golf tourism expanded rapidly in southern Spain during the 1970s. Gary Player designed the course, which dates from 1973.
Player's routing uses the site's changes in elevation and established vegetation while retaining a conventional par-71 configuration. Strategic positioning is created by bunkers, water and angled approaches rather than extreme length.
The club continues to operate its original 18-hole course for members and visiting golfers.
