Lane Cove Golf Club operates a public nine-hole course at 180 River Road in Northwood on Sydney's lower north shore. The golf course opened for play in 1964 after the club was formed by local residents in the late 1950s. Construction of the adjoining Galuwa Sport and Recreation Centre required temporary changes to the golf layout, and the club confirms that the course is still operating in its shortened par-60 configuration in 2026.
The official men's White 18-hole composite measures 3,125 metres and has a slope rating of 99; the women's Red composite measures 2,867 metres with a slope of 103. The physical nine holes are played twice using the club's published second-loop tee positions. Visitors can book seven days a week outside member block times.

The course remains open to the general public as well as club members. A new pro shop operates from the Galuwa Sport and Recreation Centre.
