Madinaty Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course within the master-planned city of Madinaty on the eastern side of greater Cairo. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the course, and current tournament and industry sources describe the regular championship layout as par 71 at roughly 6,900 yards; a current golf database lists the longest tee at 6,967 yards.
The course opened around 2020 and is owned by TMG Golf, part of Talaat Moustafa Group, with Troon responsible for club management. Madinaty has quickly accumulated a substantial tournament record. It hosted the Asian Tour's International Series Egypt in 2022, later hosted the Egyptian Open in 2025, and co-hosted the 2025 Pan Arab Junior and Ladies Championship.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,967 yards. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, the course originally opened in 2020. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Golf shop, Golf academy, Driving range, Putting green, Golf carts, Restaurants, FootGolf course.
Madinaty Golf Club was developed by Talaat Moustafa Group as a major sports and leisure component of the master-planned Madinaty community east of Cairo. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the championship golf course and accompanying FootGolf facilities, with Troon appointed to manage the golf operation.
The course was built as a modern championship venue capable of everyday member and guest play as well as international tournament setups. Tournament configurations can alter the effective par and yardage; the Asian Tour, for example, used a par-70 setup for its 2022 event.
Within only a few years of opening, Madinaty expanded its role from community golf club to international tournament venue. The Asian Tour arrived in 2022, followed by regional amateur events and the Egyptian Open. Golf academy and broader clubhouse facilities have also been developed around the course.
World Golf Awards named Madinaty Egypt's Best Golf Course in consecutive years from 2021 through 2025, while the course also received Africa's Best Golf Course recognition in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Madinaty is owned by TMG Golf and managed by Troon. It remains an active tournament venue and is scheduled to host the World Golf Awards in November 2026, the first edition of that event held in Africa.
