The Allegria Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 Greg Norman Signature course in Sheikh Zayed City on the western side of greater Cairo. The club states that the course was built in 2010 and measures 7,217 yards from the Black tees, with Blue, White and Red alternatives at 6,609, 5,994 and 5,389 yards. The longest men's setup carries a published 74.9 course rating and 131 slope in GolfPass data.
Norman's design was conceived as part of the surrounding Allegria residential community rather than as a stand-alone golf property. The official club describes lakes, streams, rock features, vegetation and undulating ground as deliberate elements of the routing. The club is managed within the Troon system and supports both membership and guest golf.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,217 yards, course rating 74.9 and slope rating 131. Designed by Greg Norman, the course originally opened in 2010. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Terrace, Clubhouse, Restaurant, Bar, Driving range, Golf academy, Golf shop, Golf carts, and 2 more.
The Allegria was conceived as a golf component of the wider Allegria residential community in Sheikh Zayed City. Greg Norman Golf Course Design was commissioned to make the golf course an extension of the master-planned neighbourhood rather than an isolated sporting facility. The completed course was built in 2010.
Norman's design uses lakes, streams, rock features, vegetation and undulating topography as recurring landscape elements. The club describes the course as deliberately adaptable to players of different standards while maintaining a serious test from the back tees.
The golf operation has developed around a Troon-managed club model, combining member programmes, guest golf, dining and instruction. An academy and practice infrastructure support the championship course.
The Allegria remains an 18-hole Greg Norman Signature course and is listed by the Egyptian Golf Federation among the established West Cairo clubs.
