Muswellbrook Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 public-access course at 3 Bell Street in Muswellbrook, New South Wales. Organised golf in Muswellbrook dates to the early 1900s, with a formally constituted golf club established in 1910. The club later acquired additional land and developed the present 18-hole course during the mid-20th century.
Hunter River District Golf Association lists the championship course at 6,104 metres with an ACR of 72. Muscle Creek crosses the property repeatedly, while the course also incorporates multiple dams and established tree-lined fairways. Current golf facilities include a pro shop, practice driving range, practice green, golf simulator, cart and equipment hire and professional instruction.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,104m. The course originally opened in 1910. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Driving Range, Practice Green, Golf Simulator, Golf Lessons, Golf Carts, Pull Cart Hire, Club Hire, and 4 more.
Golf in Muswellbrook can be traced to about 1900, when Donald Macintyre of Kayuga laid out a nine-hole course in North Muswellbrook. Local golfers later moved to recreation land east of Bell Street, and a formally constituted Muswellbrook Golf Club was established in 1910.
Early clubhouses were built in 1914 and 1924. In 1955 the club purchased additional land east of the existing course and developed an 18-hole course incorporating part of Fitzgerald Park Reserve.
The course continues as an 18-hole community golf facility operated alongside Muswellbrook RSL, with golf, dining, squash and function amenities.
