North Ryde Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in metropolitan Sydney that operates as a private members' club while welcoming public players seven days a week. The current men's course is par 69 and measures 5,312 metres from the Blue tees. Its compact routing uses tight, undulating fairways, mature trees, bunkers and water hazards rather than overall length as its primary defence.
The club traces its origins to 1937, when golfers from earlier nine-hole clubs at Rydalmere and Eastwood moved to a new course on land held by a local syndicate and businessman Les Mernin. Public green fees in 2026 are A$60 for 18 holes Monday-Thursday and A$70 Friday-Sunday and public holidays, with reduced senior, child, nine-hole and twilight rates. Facilities include practice areas, a pro shop, cart and club hire, restaurant, bars and function spaces.

Golf came to North Ryde in 1937 when players from two earlier nine-hole clubs at Rydalmere and Eastwood established a new course on land controlled by a syndicate of local residents and businessman Les Mernin.
Volunteer labour was important during the club's early years as members cleared and improved what contemporary accounts described as a primitive and overgrown course. After the Second World War the club worked to secure its long-term position on the site.
North Ryde remains a member-based golf club but explicitly welcomes public golfers seven days a week. Its compact par-69 course and central Sydney location support both member competitions and social green-fee play.
