The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. Designed by P.B. Dye and Pete Dye, the course originally opened in 2010. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Chipping area, Pro shop, Restaurant, Golf cart rental, Club rental.
The course was created as part of the Santa Barbara Plantation development and opened in 2010. Pete Dye and P.B. Dye were commissioned to route the course across a site containing rolling terrain, coastline and the historic limestone quarry from which the course takes its name.
The designers worked with the site's existing contours, routing holes through hills and valleys and alongside the coastal environments of the Caribbean Sea and Spanish Water Bay. The official course description identifies strategic bunkering, angles and elevation changes as recurring elements of the Dye design.
Old Quarry operates as an 18-hole visitor-accessible course with direct tee-time booking, a full-size practice range, short-game and putting areas, a pro shop and restaurant.
