Tierra del Sol by Iberostar is Aruba's only 18-hole golf course. Robert Trent Jones II designed the original layout, which opened in 1995. The current renovated course is a par 71 measuring 6,811 yards from the back tees.
It occupies exposed terrain at Aruba's northwestern end, combining desert vegetation, trade winds and views toward the Caribbean. The golf operation is now associated with Iberostar and JOIA Aruba by Iberostar. Tierra del Sol remains publicly playable and provides an online tee-time booking option.
