Palmetto Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 municipal course in Miami, Florida. Dick Wilson designed the layout, which was built in 1959 on 121 acres by developers Porter, Russell and Wagor. Miami-Dade County purchased the property in 1967 and continues to operate it as a public golf facility.
S. 1 south of Southwest 152nd Street, and a serpentine canal system crosses and parallels portions of the fairways. Practice amenities include a 22-position lighted driving range and a lighted putting green.

A serpentine canal system is integrated into the routing, running across and alongside tree-lined fairways. The water network is a defining strategic and physical feature of the property.
Miami-Dade County purchased Palmetto in 1967 and incorporated it into the county's public golf system. The facility subsequently added a lighted 22-position driving range, lighted putting green and supporting clubhouse amenities. More recent county work has included fairway and clubhouse improvements.
Palmetto remains an 18-hole, par-70 municipal course open to the public, with online tee-time reservations, practice facilities, instruction, equipment rental, a golf shop and on-site food service.
