Pennard Golf Club is an 18-hole links course at Southgate on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea, Wales. Golf has been played on the site since 1896, and James Braid created the first substantial 18-hole design in 1908, returning several times for further work. Later significant alterations were made by C.
K. Cotton, with additional work associated with Fred Hawtree and Donald Steel. The present men's Championship Blue course is par 71 and measures 6,376 yards, with a course rating of 72.2 and slope of 127.
The course is an 18-hole links golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,376 yards, course rating 72.2 and slope rating 127. Designed by James Braid, the course originally opened in 1896. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Golf Simulator, Clubhouse, Restaurant, Bar, and 2 more.
Golf was being played at Pennard by 1896. The club was reconstituted in 1908, when James Braid was engaged to create a substantial 18-hole layout.
Braid used the sharply undulating sandy ground and natural hollows of the Gower headland. The resulting routing behaves like seaside links golf despite sitting well above the shoreline.

Pennard is widely referred to as the 'Links in the Sky' and is regularly featured in Welsh and British course rankings and golf-travel coverage.
Pennard remains a member club while accepting visitor tee-time bookings through its online reservation system.
