Vista is one of three nine-hole courses at Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club near San José del Cabo in Baja California Sur. It is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design and forms part of a 27-hole facility alongside the Nicklaus-designed Ocean nine and Greg Norman-designed Mission nine. Puerto Los Cabos currently lists Vista at 3,436 yards and par 36.
The present Ocean and Vista nines resulted from a Nicklaus rerouting of the property's earlier golf configuration in November 2022. Vista begins with a links-style hole directed toward the Sea of Cortez and its closing holes climb to higher ground. Because Vista has only nine holes, normal 18-hole play uses it in combination with another nine; published ratings therefore belong to combinations such as Ocean/Vista or Vista/Mission rather than Vista alone.
The course is a 9-hole desert golf course. It plays to par 36, 3,142m (3,436 yards). Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course originally opened in 2022. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Golf shop, Restaurant, Bar, Café, Members lounge, On-course palapas, Practice facilities.
Puerto Los Cabos began as a resort golf development combining work by Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. The facility ultimately evolved into three distinct nine-hole courses, allowing different 18-hole combinations to be played within the same 27-hole property.
Vista is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design. The current club describes a links-style opening hole played toward the Sea of Cortez, followed by a closing sequence that climbs to elevated terrain. Its role within the 27-hole complex means the nine is intended to combine seamlessly with either Ocean or Mission for a complete round.
In November 2022 Nicklaus rerouted the existing golf layout to create the current Ocean and Vista nines. This was a significant restructuring of the original Puerto Los Cabos configuration rather than simply the addition of a separately isolated course.
Puerto Los Cabos now markets three nine-hole layouts: Ocean, Vista and Mission. Vista is paired with another nine for standard 18-hole play, while clubhouse, practice and food-and-beverage facilities serve the entire golf complex.
