Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club in San José del Cabo is a 27-hole golf complex built around separate nine-hole designs by Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. Because the property is played in different 18-hole combinations, it should not be represented by a single par, course rating or total yardage. The current official site describes three championship nines moving through desert, dunes and coastal terrain.
The Jack Nicklaus-designed Ocean nine is published at 3,576 yards and par 36 and descends from the foothills toward the Sea of Cortez, with holes five and six reaching the shoreline. Older official scorecards identify the component nines as Nicklaus I, Nicklaus II and Norman, documenting the evolution of the facility. Practice facilities and a clubhouse support the golf operation.
