Ranau Recreation & Golf Club is a nine-hole course at Kilometer 1 on the Ranau-Tambunan Road in Sabah. The club's own historical account says the course was built in 1992 by Japanese officers working with the Mamut Copper Mine, with the consent of the Ranau Recreation Club landowners. Membership was later opened to the public and the golf organisation operated as Ranau Golf Club.
On 1 December 2010, Ranau Recreation Club took over full management and the facility adopted the Ranau Recreation & Golf Club name. The club publishes an 18-hole-equivalent men's distance of 5,737 metres and women's distance of 5,053 metres, with par 72 and slope ratings of 128 for men and 118 for women. The nine-hole course is on elevated terrain around Ranau and has views toward Mount Kinabalu.
The course is a 9-hole mountain golf course. It plays to par 72, 5,737m (6,274 yards), slope rating 128. The course originally opened in 1992. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse.
