Rathcore Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course near Enfield in County Meath. Brothers Michael and Austin Lyons conceived the project toward the end of the 20th century and engaged Mel Flanagan to design the course, which officially opened in 2004. The layout is a par 73 measuring 6,555 yards from the white tees in the published scorecard, with yellow and red alternatives at 6,008 and 5,311 yards.
Rathcore's site includes rolling drumlin terrain, water features and mature trees, but its most historically distinctive features are two preserved ringforts and an Anglo-Norman motte incorporated into the routing. The club explicitly welcomes visitors and provides online visitor tee-time booking through BRS Golf. The course's historical monuments were preserved within the golf development rather than removed during construction.

Michael and Austin Lyons of Summerhill developed the idea for a golf course on the Rathcore landscape toward the end of the 20th century. They commissioned Mel Flanagan for the design, and planning and construction culminated in the official opening in 2004.
The modern layout was fitted around rolling drumlin terrain, tree-lined horizons and water features. A particularly important constraint was the archaeological landscape: two ringforts and a motte dating from Anglo-Norman times were preserved and incorporated sensitively into the course rather than removed.
Since opening, the club credits long-term course management, including the work of head greenkeeper Andy Christie, with developing Rathcore's playing surfaces and reputation.
Rathcore remains an 18-hole visitor-accessible golf club near Enfield. Visitors can reserve tee times through the club's BRS booking portal.
